Both workshops focused on poetry and self-portraiture, and through a variety of prompts and exercises, Harpreet expertly tailored each program to suit its audience. ‘‘It was such a wonderful experience having Harpreet in our Literature class. Although it was through a screen, it seemed as if she was just sitting there with us. 

My students were inspired by her voice; her stories and experiences. Sharing what she did to persue happiness and becoming more self confident was everything they needed to listen. 

They are 17-18 year old teens who are about to finish high school. Surrounded by insecurities and uncertainties, I decided to invite Harpreet to talk to them and read beautiful poems because I was sure that it was going to be not only an enjoyable virtual meet but also, an inspirational and motivational one. My students were delighted and it was the perfect way to end our classes understanding that they can be the leaders of their lives and choose a path in life that can make them happy.
